Boy GeorgeFollowing the disbandment of Culture Club, flamboyant frontman Boy George (born George Alan O’Dowd) launched his solo career in 1987. He immediately scored a UK number-one hit with a reggae-infused cover of “Everything I Own”. Evolving beyond his 1980s pop roots, George embraced electronic dance music in the late 1980s and early 1990s, recording under the moniker Jesus Loves You. His solo path yielded global hits like “The Crying Game” and saw him reinvent himself as a highly successful international club DJ. Over his extensive solo journey, he has released 11 studio albums, showcasing a lifelong commitment to soul, house, and electronic pop.
